DAILY MORNING ROUTINES
Enter quietly.
Quietly hang-up your coat and backpack.
Quietly put away your supplies.
Quietly begin working on your ADD.
If you finish your work BEFORE others, please work on other assignments and projects.
Please, DO NOT sharpen pencils during instruction and learning times.
Please have MORE THAN ONE pencil sharpened and ready to use for the day.
PLEASE NEVER, EVER interrupt a lesson to sharpen your pencil.
PLEASE NEVER, EVER interrupt a discussion to sharpen your pencil.
PLEASE NEVER, EVER interrupt me to sharpen your pencil.
Please, DO NOT get up for a drink during instruction times. It is distracting and very impolite to others.
You may have a SOFT plastic water bottle at your desk.
Please DO NOT fill your water bottle during instruction and learning times. Fill your water bottle before school, during lunch, during recess, or right after school.
Please HANG-UP your coats and backpacks on the backs of your chairs.
Please DO NOT place your backpack on the floor by your desk.
Please keep coats and backpacks off of the tile floor. Thank you.
Bathroom business needs to be taken care of BEFORE you enter the classroom.
Please use the bathroom before school, during lunch, during recess, or after school.
If you must use the bathroom during school hours, please do so during INDEPENDENT WORK TIMES and NEVER EVER during teacher instruction times unless it is truly an emergency.
When you need to use the bathroom, place 1 of your 5 bathroom passes in the basket by the door. Place a plastic "girl" or "boy" bathroom pass on your desk.
When you return, put the girl/boy pass back in the basket.
Please pick-up your mail, backpacks and coats and bring them to your desks as your pod is called.
Please stack your OWN chair.
Line-up QUIETLY when your pod is dismissed.
