DAILY PLAN BOOK GUIDELINES
In preparation for the middle school transition, all students in our 6th Grade Learning Lounge will record assignments in their Daily Plan Books. The format includes: (1) the name of the assignment, (2) the assignment's due date, (3) a check off box to indicate that the assignment has been completed and turned in, and (4) a place for a parent to sign indicating that he/she has discussed the daily assignments with his/her pre-teen. Your pre-teen's Daily Plan Book will be kept at the front of his/her binder along with our monthly newsletters.
Getting into the habit of looking at your pre-teen's Daily Plan Book will help you keep track of work your child is doing in class and homework assignments. You can help me hold your pre-teen accountable for completing the assignments. Unfinished daily work will be sent home to complete. The due date for those assignments will be the same as the weekly homework due date (unless otherwise specified). Classroom assignments are posted on this website.
