THIRD WEEK
You may type your work.
___A. Read a total of 210 minutes from a BOOK (30 minutes a night for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday). Write the following in your homework notebook: “I have read at least 210 minutes this week.” Sign your name next to this writing. Have your parent sign his/her name next to this writing.
___B. Writing: Please write 3 paragraphs describing the exciting things going on in your book.
___A. Complete your math practice sets in your notebook.
___B. Please glue the practice set questions in your notebook. Complete the work on the next page.
___A. Write the spelling words 3 times each in cursive writing.
___B. Take a practice test with a family member each evening (7 times). I need to see ALL SEVEN practice tests in your notebook. One test each evening is what I’m looking for.
___C. Write your spelling words in a Thanksgiving story. You must have five paragraphs or more. Thank you.
___Two 18 x 24 inch posters with 1-inch borders.
___Four 12 x 18 inch posters with ½-inch borders.
___Eight 9 x 12 inch posters with ¼-inch borders
___ Continue working on making your products.
___A. You may choose to enter a piece of art that reflects how you can make a difference by writing a poem, an essay, a photograph, a musical composition, or a dance composition. Rules were sent home a few weeks ago.
