               Hello, hello!  We’re having so much fun in the Lounge.  Each day we come to school full of pride for our successes in 6^th grade.  Each day brings lots of joy and laughter.  You have such hardworking, caring and compassionate tweens and teens.  I’m so fortunate to be teaching and learning with such 28 beautiful people.  Thank you for giving me the honor and privilege of working with them every single day.

Employees of the Week for November 12th-16th:  Abby, Mintha, Minthan, Jordan, Shane, Caleb, Tara, and Jacob.  Thank you so much for being respectful and responsible. 

Abby and Tara I had so much FUN eating at Bonefish with the two of you last Friday.  Thanks for working so hard for UNICEF. 

In December I will be taking out 4 boys and 4 girls separately for dinner.  They will be the four boys and four girls who received the honor of being employee of the week for the most weeks from September through November.

Keep working on your Marketplace products.  I was so impressed with the prototypes that were brought in.  We did a gallery walk with them.  The students placed their business posters on their desks.  They then placed all the prototypes around their posters.  We walked around with our clipboards critiquing each business.  Students wrote two things they loved about each business and one thing that could help the business become even better.  I enjoyed watching the students interact and come up with meaningful comments.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

               November 20^th THIRD week homework went home.  Spelling tests will be given on the 22^nd.

               November 22^nd and 23^rd are days off for Thanksgiving.  Enjoy your family time together.  I wil see you back in the Learning Lounge on Monday, November 26^th. 

               November 27^th THIRD week homework is DUE.  Spelling tests are given.

               November 27^th PTA Reflections Art is DUE.

               Week of November 27^th will be a free week from homework for those students that earned it.
